Fenris Digital Announces Membership in MassChallenge FinTech 2020 Cohort

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

December 18, 2019 – Fenris Digital, a software and analytics company enabling friction-free applications for financial and insurance products, announced their selection as a member of the MassChallenge FinTech 2020 Cohort on December 18. Fenris will participate in mentorship and partnership opportunities with major financial services firms.

“Fenris is thrilled to participate in MassChallenge FinTech in 2020. We know that our membership will be critical to refining our vision to bring Fenris’ suite of scores and data services beyond insurance to the broader financial services industry. With partners at MassChallenge, we will continue accelerating our growth in adjacent markets,” says Jennifer Linton, Founder and CEO of Fenris.

The MassChallenge selection is one of several honors for Fenris in the past year. In 2019, Fenris has won the DXC Technology North America Invitational in Insurance and the People’s Choice Award at the same event, was selected as a Guidewire PartnerConnect solution, integrated with Digital Matrix Systems’ TEST/DRIVE program, and contributed to the 2019 World InsurTech Report published by Capgemini Financial Services. Fenris was also part of this year’s insurtech funding news after receiving $1.7M in seed funding from Six Thirty Ventures, CIT (Center for Innovative Technology), and other Angel syndicates. In prior years, Fenris was admitted to the PlugandPlay Insurtech accelerator and was honored by the Hartford Insurtech Hub.

“We are proud to cap off a year of significant achievements with our selection to MassChallenge. We’ve validated the need for our suite of data and scoring products in creating better customer experiences across industries. Fenris is looking forward to using this momentum in 2020 to reach even more partners and clients in insurance and financial services,” added Linton.

Fenris maintains it proprietary, in-house repository of over 400 million entity records and accompanying data elements from an array of qualified and emerging sources that are non-FCRA regulated. By employing machine learning in conjunction with its proprietary repository, Fenris continuously improves its products in partnership with underwriting, marketing, and agency teams. Fenris’ product portfolio of data pre-fill APIs, best-in-class scores such as its Personal Financial Responsibility (PFR) score, and turnkey technologies is currently in use by dozens of personal, commercial, and life insurers as well as financial advisory firms.
